Car Sympathy

So the BIG DAY has come and you have have your first lesson.

The feelings of excitement and anxiety are real. The freedom and independence a driving license gives you opens so many doors. It literally changes your life from that day forward. It’s easier to gets jobs and you can go where you want to when you to. More over it’s a huge achievement. It’s important to say that the roads are vastly different to when I learnt to drive 32 years ago. They are far more crowded. As well as the overcrowding issue, I have noticed an increase in aggression on the roads. Of course we all have somewhere to be, especially on a weekday at rush hour. Aggression just makes the journey stressful and you end up arriving at work tired and in the wrong mindset before you even start.

THE BIG DAY your first driving lesson

Everyone gets anxious ….

It’s normal to be anxious when thinking about learning to drive. Likewise it is exciting. There are many things you can do to help with any anxiety, then you can enjoy your lessons. Additionally, it is a matter of fact that we all learn easier and progress quicker if we are enjoying our learning. It is always best to give your instructor feedback if you are not sure about something or there is a way your lessons could be put over in a way that suits you better. In light of what we teach you obviously cannot be changed but the way we put the information over can be done in different ways. As long as the correct and desired end result is obtained it doesn’t matter how we get there.
